A busy Wednesday and here are the thoughts of our Racing Factors Long shot tipster.

Sourdough showed steady improvement in a trio of novice races last winter over a distance of 1m. Those runs have earned him an opening handicap mark of 76 and that could well be on the lenient side considering he is a horse that should improve with age and distance. Sourdough's dam raced over 2m so the step up to 1m2f is surely going to help him and in time he will get further. The nice long straight and galloping track at Nottingham should also suit him well and a big run looks likely off his current handicap mark. Sourdough rates a 5 star each way Pick.
