Henri The Second was winning a grade 2 novice hurdle at this meeting two years ago and ran well in a couple of novice races thereafter. However he had a wind surgery operation and only ran once over fences last season when a well beaten 4th of 4. He was then given a year break and returned to action here at Sandown when staying on well to finish 4th of 9 over 2m4f. That run should bring him on plenty and he looks like a horse that will improve for the extra distance he tackles today. Off what looks a good handicap mark of 125, Henri The Second rates a 4 star each way Pick.
