Trainer James Tate appears to have his string in fine order and Untied Approach can make a winning return to action having been off the track since late June. He ran a fine race last time out to finish 2nd of 11 behind Make Me King (has won again since at Group 3 level) staying on well from the back of the pack, trying 7f for the first time. He looks like a horse that should find improvement at this distance and a strongly run race on a big galloping track such as Ascot should very much play to his strengths. United Approach rates a 4 star each way Pick.
