Magic Memories has shown some progressive form in handicaps this season including good efforts to finish 5th of 18 at Doncaster and also 2nd here at Sandown over this distance. He built on those runs to win last time out at Yarmouth by 1/2 lengths, but looking well in command at the finish. Given his progressive profile and also the stables ability to get their handicappers to peak for the big day, it could well be that Magic Memories has been let in off a fair mark of 83 for todays race. The stiff uphill finish at Sandown should suit him well and he seems to handle all ground conditions. Magic Memories rates a 4 star each way Pick.
