Project Geofin showed some good form as a 2-year old, including a win over 6f here at Newcastle. He has only had the 3 starts so far this season all at big race tracks York, Haydock and Doncaster and on each occasion he has not been beaten far. He looks a horse that needs some time between his races and return here off a 47 day break. Project Geofin might have found the 1m last time at Doncaster stretching his stamina and perhaps not ideally suited by the round course. Now back over 7f on a track he has won on in the past, he could well put his best foot forward. Project Geofin rates a 4 star each way Pick.
