New Chelsea finally got his head in front two runs back at Windsor when winning his maiden by a neck from a fair sort and 6 1/2 lengths back to the 3rd. He had ran well on a number of occasions prior to that, including when 2nd at this track last season. It is probably best to forgive his latest run in a decent looking handicap at Goodwood and although it might be tempting to say he didn't stay the extra distance that day he had looked like a horse that would benefit for the step up. Now back in slightly calmer waters and on a more conventional track New Chelsea is taken to go close. New Chelsea rates a 4 star each way Pick.
