Iron Bridge was racing off a 6lb higher mark when 2nd in this race last season and although he was well beaten by the winner that day he plugged on well to beat 17 other rivals. His form since that run somewhat curtailed last season but he returned to action this term with a fine 3rd of 9 at Carlisle. He stuck on well that day but looked like he would improve a great deal fitness wise for the run and also for a step up in distance. It could well be that Iron Bridge's stable have targeted today's race as his main objective for the season and he looks sure to run a good race. Iron Bridge rates a 4 star each way Pick.
