El Bodon seems to have improved from 2 to 3 judged on his latest outing in the Group 3 Greenham Stakes. He was held up in midfield before coming with a strong looking run and managed to dead-heat for 2nd. It is interesting that connections opt to drop him back in distance today to 6f and it could well be an inspired move. At this shorter distance El Bodon should get a strong pace to settle in behind and he could well finish off the race strongly like he did at Newbury. El Bodon also has a fitness edge over some of his rivals too. El Bodon rates a 4 star each way Pick.
