Game Set won both of his first two starts last season before finishing well held in handicap company at Doncaster off a mark of 87. He was subsequently gelded over the winter and has yet to figure in the finish in 3 handicap runs this season. That said he has been beaten only 3 1/4 lengths, 2 lengths and 2 lengths in those runs so has been far from disgraced. At Sandown last time he looked to be coming with a good effort only to perhaps not see out the stiff 1m that day. Now back to 7f and off a mark of 81 he could well be ready to strike. Connections have opted to put the blinkers on for the first time and that could be a move that sharpen's him. Game Set rates a 4 star each way Pick.
