Elmonjed showed smart form as a 2-year old winning both of his starts and despite running well in some top quality handicaps this season he is yet to get his head infront. He ran really well to finish 3rd in the big 3-year old sprint handicap at York 2 runs back and was then backed into favouritism on his last over this very track and distance. However he could only manage 3rd and after looking like coming with a good run his effort petered out. Connections have now opted to replace cheek-pieces with blinkers and they could well help get the most out of Elmonjed, who has been highly thought of on his homework. Elmonjed rates a 4star each way Pick.
