Hasthing has showed improved form since going over fences this season and a pair of wins at Windsor were backed up with a staying on 4th of 11 at Ascot in February over 3m. Connections stepped him up to 3m6f for a handicap at the Cheltenham Festival and Hasthing was noted staying on well when he fell at the last fence. He looks a horse that will be suited by today's marathon distance and provided his jumping holds up, he could be a threat to all at the finish of the race. Hasthing looks like a horse that is better than his current handicap mark of 133 over fences and if he can handle the hustle and bustle of today's race he should go close.
