Spell Master showed some progressive form as a 2-year old last season and looks just the type to carry that progress into this year. He dead-heat won a maiden at Goodwood in August and then backed that up with two good efforts in handicap company at Doncaster and Newmarket when finishing 2nd and 4th respectively. 7f on a straight track and on good ground should suit Spell Master well and a big run looks on the cards for his seasonal reappearance at his local track.
