Lady Lade had been a shade disappointing this season in her first 3 starts, all at Musselburgh. However there was a signs of a revival last time out at Carlisle, where she was held up off the pace and came through nicely to finish 3rd. She was dropped a further 1lbs in the weights for that run and is now 4lb lower than when she started the season and on the same mark as her last win. With her stable in flying form too, there are a number of positives to believe Lady Lade can run a big race today. Jockey Oisin Orr rode her last time and should be able to get a good tune out of the daughter of Havana Gold. Lady Lade rates a 1 star each way Pick.
