Saladins Son showed some fair form over hurdles and managed to win a race at Huntingdon for his new stable. However coming from a point-to-point background and having won a race in that sphere, it is reasonable to expect him to improve when going over fences. He was pulled up on his chase debut at Ffos Las but proved that run all wrong when winning next time out over this very track and distance. Saladins Son was ridden from the front that day and galloped his rivals into the ground to win by 6 lengths. A 5lb rise in the weights might not be enough to stop him following up from that win today. Saladins Son rates a 4 star win Pick.
