Santorini Star showed the benefit of her debut run at Southwell where she finished 2nd of 3 to then go on and win on her next start at Kempton. She was very green in the preliminaries that day and also at times during the race. However she knuckled down well in the final stages of the race to finish well on top at the end. That race was over a 1m distance and she looks just the type of horse to improve significantly now stepping up in distance (dam stayed 1m4f). It does appear that the handicapper has given her a chance off an initial mark of 77 and she could well be far better than that. Santorini Star rates a 5 star win Pick.
