El Rio showed some good form over hurdles but is proving to be an even better type since switched to fences. He ran a cracker at Kempton over Christmas to finish 3rd of 8 in a race where the form has worked out. Then on his next outing back at Kempton he won by 7 lengths from some seasoned handicappers suggesting he is still improving. El Rio has won over today's track and distance in the past and everything looks set for another big run. El Rio rates a 4 star win Pick.
