President Scottie should progressive form over hurdles last season and managed to win a couple of races, one of which was over this very track and distance. However connections have wasted no time in sending him over fences and he has looked a horse that would improve for the larger obstacles. He ran a good race to finish 2nd on his seasonal debut last month in a novice chase handicap at Haydock, with the winner running in grade 1 company the next time. President Scottie is sure to build on that first run and although he might appreciate longer distances in time he should be able to get away with it on soft ground today. President Scottie rates a 4 star win Pick.
