Iroko showed some smart form over hurdles and was 3rd in a grade 1 novice event at Aintree at the end of the 2022/23 season. He then made a very good start to his career over fences when winning at Warwick in impressive fashion. However minor injury delayed his return to action where he finished a credible 5th of 11 at the Cheltenham Festival and then backed that up with a 2nd of 6 at Aintree, with both races being grade 1. He looks to the type of horse to do better this season and this slight ease in grade should see him making a winning seasonal return (has ran well after a break in the past). Iroko rates a 4 star win Pick.
