Irish Hill has won 6 hurdles races out of 21 starts and showed some good form in fair handicaps last season. Like so many of his stable he returned to action needing the run badly when pulled up at Chepstow in October. He then came out and won in good style at Plumpton, battling on well at the finish. Up 3lb for that win might not be enough to stop Irish Hill and he could well be adding to his list of victories. The distance of 2m4f on good ground at a sharp track like Wincanton should suit him really well ( has won at tight tracks Fakenham, Plumpton and Taunton) and with his stable in better form now, Irish Hill looks the one to be with. Irish Hill rates a 4 star win Pick.
