Caldwell Potter was a grade 1 winner over hurdles for his previous connections and made the perfect start to life for his current connections when winning on chase debut at Carlisle last December over 2m. He was unable to back that effort up in better company some 2 weeks later at Cheltenham when a well beaten 3rd of 5. However that race was over 2m4f and might have just stretched his stamina for the current time. Now back down to 2m he looks the class horse in this race and it would be disappointing should he not win today. Caldwell Potter rates a 5 star win Pick.
