Mondammej could be described as a quirky sort but he has also got plenty of ability to go with it and was rated as high as 104 in 2022. He had been on a three year losing run with only a handful of good efforts amongst some very moderate ones which saw his mark slip to 68. However after a wind operation he has come back in great form winning last month by a neck and then at the start of this month by 3/4 length. In both races Mondammej travelled powerfully and kept on strongly at the finish. Now raised to a mark of 76 he may not still done winning considering his past exploits and given conditions he clearly likes, he looks the one to beat. Mondammej rates a 4 star win Pick.
