Narkez showed some smart form last season as a 2-year old, including when winning a conditions race at Clairefontaine by 5 1/2 lengths. He improved on that with his first start of the season when winning another conditions race at Saint-Cloud, this time by 6 1/2 lengths (could easily have been more) and outlined his potential to be top class. The further he went that day the better he looked, so the step up in distance to 1m1f today should suit him really well. Unlike all bar one of his rivals, Narkez has already had a run this year and his assured fitness must also be a big plus, along with the fact his trainer has a very good 34% Racing Factors rating at the track. Narkez rates a 4 star win Pick.
