Heathcliff's form figures at Kempton read 13121 so he clearly goes well at the track and the fact that all of his 10 career starts have been on the all-weather suggests he enjoys the artificial surface. He was returning from a two and a half month absence when a good 4th of 14 at Newcastle over 6f last month, staying on strongly at the finish. Now returned to Kempton he could be ready to strike with that Newcastle run under his belt. Draw 9 is not too much of a concern as he is a horse that is often dropped in at the start and provided they go a good early gallop, Heathcliff could be the one finishing off the race best of all. Heathcliff rates a 5 star win Pick.
