Bay Bridge might not have been at his best when well held by Vadeni in last seasons Eclipse Stakes at Sandown. He bounced right back after that run to win the Champion Stakes at Ascot beating a very decent field including Adayar, My Prospero and Baaeed. That form looks very strong in the context of this race. Bay Bridge would have needed his reappearance run in the Group 1 Prix Ganay, were the heavy going would have weened out any lack of full fitness. With that run under his belt he can now take today's race before a return to Royal Ascot. Bay Bridge rates a 2 star win Pick.
