VERDICT: Small field but it is open. Rested Kimball O'hara races fresh, has a 4kg apprentice claim and jumps from gate one. He could take advantage. Beach Palace produced a strong finish to record his second career victory and could repeat if not minding the drop in distance. Run To Rio finished well behind him but won a good race thereafter and that form line has produced numerous subsequent winners. Future Saint wasn't far off Beach Palace a few starts back but isn't the most consistent. Yannakis looks to have upset potential.
