VERDICT: Mont Loisir, Avignon and Mela Strength were right on top of each other last time and the trio could take it to the wire. Mont Loisir is in good form and back to a more suitable trip so could go all the way. It was encouraging to see Avignon come back to form over the sprint and he should build on the performance. Mela Strength turned in a decent effort returning from a break and could be in the right place at the right time having drawn well. Gold Index is back to his best trip so could suddenly pop up. Ischyro and filly Tres Chic won't be far off either.
