VERDICT: Ventura Express looked to be coming with a strong challenge when hampered inside the final furlong at Pontefract recently, and he may be able to gain compensation on this occasion. The eight-year-old may have too much for the classy Tees Spirit, who is likely to have improved plenty for his spin at Southwell in Listed company. A Royal Ascot winner last year, Pilgrim is of interest too.
