VERDICT: Winner of 2 of his last 3 starts, most recently under the saddle, Karrington (13) simply excels with his trainer and returns to the harness code with a legitimate claim on the prize. They will still encounter opposition from a barefoot Krack Desbois (11) who has yet to disappoint at Caen, and the slightly trickier Karat Deff (6) who imposed over course and distance just over a month ago. Kathleen D'ecotay (8) would have finished in the money at Reims had she not faulted and Paul Ploquin will be determined to set the record straight.
