VERDICT: Runner-up under these conditions last year when sporting pads, Lambo De Leau (7) has a pair of runs under his belt since the long layoff, races first-time barefoot, and simply excels with Yoann Lebourgeois. They will still face significant resistance from the widely-drawn but competitively-configured London Eye (8) who left a fine impression here last month, and the better-positioned Lutin De La Fye (4) who sports modified shoeing after making an excellent comeback earlier in the month. Le Miracle (9) has been handed the 9-spot but goes unshod-behind and will be reined by Alexandre Abrivard.
