VERDICT: Although seldom far from faulting, Libre Sautonne (1) has shown considerable aptitude so far and even though forced to start on the rail, she can nevertheless impose her will provided she gets off on the right foot. La Star (8) starts wide but has a brace of runs in her and, barefoot with Yoann Lebourgeois reining, is unlikely to go down without a fight. Better-placed behind the car, Liberte Cerise (5) caught the eye under these conditions last month and will not be available at 61/1 this time around. Like A Prayer (6) has taken particularly well to racing barefoot and Tony Le Beller will be determined to confirm her Amiens performance.
