VERDICT: Tomarlo can make a winning reappearance for locally based trainer David Marnane. A winner on the polytrack at Dundalk last November, the gelding went close at that same venue on his most recent outing. While the son of Iffraaj has done much of his racing over further, he gives the impression that he will have no trouble dropping back to the minimum trip. Provided they go fast enough in the initial stages, the three-year-old should be finishing strongly under Luke McAteer. Handicap debutant Raising The Flag needs to improve on her maiden form but is very lightly raced at this stage of her career. Billy Lee looks a significant booking. Steel Magnolia is another that can do better now handicapping.
