VERDICT: Sent for a spell after running 2nd under these conditions, Keops Des Haubois (8) lost all chance at the start on re-entry but is plainly a horse of significant ability and Anthony Dollion can be justifiably confident of setting the record straight. He will nonetheless be watching out for Kelmondo Boy (4) who made a victorious return to the track, and Kado Surprise (1) who has returned to racing left-handed with ample success. Klarck De Vandel (9) is plainly better than recent numbers would suggest and is back barefoot with a good hand to play.
