VERDICT: Midnight Fairy ran a cracker on her handicap debut at Limerick and a reproduction of that effort might be good enough. She was a fine second of 17, finishing eight and a half lengths clear of the third, with the winner giving the form a boost by following up on his next start. First and third at Down Royal on St Patrick's Day, Cher Tara and Ar Nos Na Gaoithe are both sure to have plenty of supporters. The former since had to settle for minor honours at Downpatrick and is tried in cheekpieces for the first time. Bidding to supplement a surprise success at Limerick, Silent Selector warrants the utmost respect with Rob James aboard, while others for the shortlist are Silent Dawn, Heidi's Frontiere and Arnacoeur.
