VERDICT: Luminaries defeated Regal And Royal, who has a strong chance in the other division of this contest (7:40), at Newcastle to complete his hat-trick last time out. Despite a 9lb higher mark, Ewan Whillans' gelding might not be done just yet. Fat Harry wasn't the most fluent at Uttoxeter recently so it was to his credit that he was able to keep on for second. A return to further should suit and he is feared, while market support for handicap debutant Alshadhian would be noteworthy.
