VERDICT: Magic Box cost 34,000 pounds as a yearling and is a half-sister to Boy Browning, who was a winner over 6f as a juvenile. With William Haggas' string starting the season in fine order, it would be no surprise to see her make an instant impression in a winnable contest. Greek Gold's dam is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Arabian Queen, so he may be seen in a better light as he takes a step up in trip. Alkuwarrior brings the most experience to the table and will be looking to put that to good use.
