VERDICT: Stroxx has been in fine fettle this month, with a close-up second at Musselburgh followed up by a dogged Catterick victory. This looks a suitable opportunity for Liam Bailey's sprinter to go in again and he makes plenty of appeal off just 2lb higher. Brian The Snail returned to form with a solid third at Nottingham and the evergreen 11-year-old is feared most, ahead of Variety Island.
