VERDICT: Having supplemented his debut victory in France with a respectable second at Chantilly, stable/seasonal debutant Romieu sets a strong standard for the others to aim at. The four-year-old is likely to take all the beating if handling the forecast quicker ground and a second career victory may await. The biggest threat might emerge from Jenubiyah, who offered plenty of encouragement with her third at Kempton. Newcomer Earthwatch warrants a market check.
