VERDICT: Captain Of All filly Ruby Rex looks well placed. She hit the front before tiring into third on debut and then didn't disgrace herself when making some progress from a wide gate at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. Winter Gamble has patchy form but has shown enough to win a race like this. Her stable is in good form again. Duchess Of Paloma is holding form but battled to quicken last time. A set of blinkers could see a bolder performance. Watch out for newcomer Lowveld Lily who is well related. She won't need to be a star to win it.
