VERDICT: Lifetime Ambition looks the one to beat. The winner of this race 12 months ago and successful in point-to-points at Belharbour and Belclare this season, he was an excellent third over the big fences at Aintree earlier in the month. Overcoming a lengthy layoff to win on his debut for Eugene O'Sullivan at Dromahane recently, Bugs Moran is of definite interest. A smart hurdler when in the care of Noel Meade, he starts off over racecourse fences now. Third to the selection in last year's renewal, Early Doors will need to bounce back from a disappointing effort in the Tetratema if he is to feature here, while others for the shortlist are Lisleigh Lad and West Cork Wildway.
