VERDICT: Hodgepodge ran out a convincing winner last time and with confidence boosted could follow up. She has the best of the draws again. Watch out for Cape filly Plum Pudding. She looks to be a bit better than her recent efforts and could prefer the track and trip. Sonata Samaritan is holding her form well and looks worth trying over the extra again. Escapologist has drawn widest again. She is capable of putting in a bold bid but will need the race run to suit. Flying Hafla needed her last start and could make dramatic improvement.
