VERDICT: Madison Valley ended his season on a high, finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Betway Summer Cup at Turffontein. He needed his comeback start and should go well at the weights. Diani was beaten in a close call over the course and distance last time. He finished ahead of Madison Valley and Cherry Ano and must be taken seriously. Justin Snaith has two in the race, Get Impressed and Underworld. The former is better than his recent form and has a decent record at the venue. The latter has matured and looks to have more to come. King Pelles is another to keep an eye on.
