VERDICT: Red Sand won a decent novice at Goodwood in May and although not seen since, Ed Walker's colt could be useful and, being related to a couple of winners on the all-weather, it would come as no surprise were he good enough to defy a penalty. Warrior Mode provided Sir Mark Prescott with a winning debutant over C&D recently so he should not be underestimated, while Arundel, who shaped with promise over a mile at Southwell recently, is also noted.
