VERDICT: Trainer Andrew Balding won this in 2024 with Fire Demon and he has three entered this year with Berkshire Whisper possibly the pick of the trio, after following up a debut second with wins at Kempton and over C&D when sent clear late on. Oisin Murphy will be hoping he can build on that for his handicap debut where a mark of 89 seems reasonable. So Darn Hot is also a C&D winner and he can go well with Warren Fentiman claiming 5lb, while Humam and Hello Zaman also make the shortlist.
