VERDICT: Likely to be dropped in from his wide draw, Sir Maxi looks to hold sound claims having been a slightly unfortunate second over 6f at Newcastle last time out. The gelded son of Adaay travelled into the contest going best approaching the furlong pole before finding trouble. He will perhaps need some luck here, but returning to further will suit and the booking of Jamie Spencer is noteworthy. Split Elevens likes it around here and is respected, along with Bint Havana Gold and Rhythmic Acclaim.
