VERDICT: Yes Day has been a revelation since going beyond 3m over fences and the hat-trick looks very much on the cards following a comfortable success at Exeter off 4lb lower. Ajp Kingdom could not have done it any easier over 3m2f at Uttoxeter in November and he is a key player, as is Regarde, who improved for wind surgery when scoring at Haydock. Chepstow winner Ask Brewster and chasing debutant Mahland also warrant consideration.
