VERDICT: Art Of Diplomacy lost little in defeat on his latest third in a class 3 chase at Newbury and he makes a considerable amount of appeal reverting to timber at a lower level. The nine-year-old races off an unchanged mark and the application of first-time blinkers could eke out further improvement.
