VERDICT: Misunderstood (4) ran an eye-catching race in the Group I Prix Jean-Luc Lagardare last October, finishing third despite running keen. His penultimate start reflects him winning a Group III contest over the course and distance. He should win here if he is to turn into a Classic prospect.
