VERDICT: A Listed race for fillies and mares. Best-weighted Scarlet Macaw had excuses for a disappointing last start so shouldn't be written off, especially on these favourable weight terms. Stable companions Gold Poker Game and Rainbow Lorikeet are also well in at the weights. The latter races fresh off a 2000m feature-race victory last time. She, like stablemate Callmegetrix, is suited to this distance. Both are genuine candidates for victory off career-high marks. Younger rival Kinda Wonderful backed up her 4th in a Grade 1 with a fast-finishing 2nd over track and trip last time so is slightly preferred.
