VERDICT: Otago made it two wins out of his last three starts at this track when last seen in October, but with both of those victories coming on soft ground, it may open the door for Blenheim Star. William Knight's filly lost two places inside the last furlong to finish fourth at Yarmouth in September and she might take advantage of a 2lb lower rating for that performance. Marsh Benham is another to watch out for.
