    2 (4)
    L Morris

    Age 3 CP

ANALYSIS: Prominent, keen and soon raced in second, led home turn, asserted over 1f out, all out when much reduced lead toward finish, just held on
  • 2nd
    4 (1)
    Joe Leavy

    Age 3

    short head
ANALYSIS: Soon raced in second, keen and steadied to race in third, hung left, dropped to fourth when chased leaders from home turn, rallied and stayed on well final furlong, went second again towards finish, just failed (rider said colt hung left-handed throughout)
  • 3rd
    1 (5)
    William Carson

    Age 4

    head
ANALYSIS: Prominent, chased leaders from 2f out, ridden when disputing second 1f out, every chance and ran on final furlong, no extra towards finish
  • 4th
    3 (2)
    Saffie Osborne

    Age 3

    1 1/2 L
ANALYSIS: Soon led, headed home turn, ridden over 1f out, reared and became unbalanced when short of room towards finish, never recovered
  • 5th
    5 (3)
    Darragh Keenan

    Age 3

    11 L
ANALYSIS: Always in rear, outpaced from home turn, detached from well over 1f out, never on terms
VERDICT: The Hrse Horse improved from first to second start when a highly promising third from the front over 7f at Lingfield last month. The drop in trip looks like a perfect move for Jamie Osborne's charge. He gets the vote ahead of Cables Queen on her first start for the James Owen team and Gennadius, who ran well for a long way before weakening late in the piece over 1m at Bath recently.
